No side-effects It's hard to know with joint & arthritus supplements if they are helping or not. I took glucosomine for years and then stopped and noticed no difference whatsoever. Now I am taking 5-Loxin but no dramatic change. However, I am certainly not experiencing any increase in arthritus pain and I have experienced no negative side-effects whatever. I have not been taking it long enough to see if it will help after a long hike or other activity that generally produces inflamation. I started with 150 mg per day but have since increased it to 300 mg per day. January 30, 2010
