Following a specialty diet leaves a lot to be desired at breakfast time. Pancakes, waffles, cereals and muffins are all typically off limits. Even if you find a gluten-free version, the texture is dry and the flavor is bland – not the best way to start your day. Don’t you wish gluten-free treats could taste as good as the “real” ones?

With Vitacost® Gluten-Free Homemade Muffin Mix, you can now bring the neighborhood bakery to your kitchen by mixing up a batch of unbelievably moist muffins or quickbread any time. Customize the mix with your favorite fruit or vegetable for the perfect breakfast, snack or dessert.

Flexible mix - lets you be creative This is a basic muffin mix that can be modified for your tastes/purposes. I make bread in a loaf pan because it's easier than making individual muffins. I've used this mix for banana and banana nut bread, carrot bread, blueberry bread and have several other ideas to try. And the gluten-free grandkids love it. April 27, 2015
Lovely muffins! My whole family loved the blueberry muffins I made with this mix. It's a good bargain, too. It worked well, also, to put a few sliced almonds atop each one before baking. Awesome! March 22, 2015
Easy and yummy I made the blueberry muffin recipe on the back of the box. It was easy and it came out very good. The muffins look great and the texture is hearty but fluffy, if that makes any sense. I see people noting the cinnamon taste although this is not listed as an ingredient. I agree that it is odd but tasty nonetheless. I think it would be best used for a banana walnut loaf. this mix has some spices in it. I used it to make cranberry orange muffins. they turned out wonderful. February 24, 2015
Makes GREAT Pumpkin Bread!!! I followed the directions on the back for banana bread, but substituted 1 1/3 cups pumpkin puree for the banana, then added a teaspoon of pumpkin pie spice, a 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon, and an 1/8 teaspoon of ground cloves. It was definitely a hit! I'll be ordering more soon. Next time, I'm adding some Enjoy Life mini morsels! :D January 12, 2015
