Vitacost Gluten Free Homestyle Biscuit Mix - Non-GMO -- 17.76 oz (504 g)
The taste was pretty good but as far as texture they were hard, chewy and when you sliced them they fell apart.

Best Gluten Free Biscuit
These are the best Gluten Free Biscuits mixes I have found. I think I've tried them all. Far superior to many on the market. I make them as drop biscuits. Simple and easy recipe. Also used as a crust for a pot pie worked very well.

Love this GF Biscuit Mix!
This mix is very versatile. I have used it as a flour substitute in several of my old wheat-based savory recipes with excellent results. This is a must for the GF pantry!

I have tried most if not all gf biscuit mixes. This is hands down the best. I do chop the butter, then stick it in the freezer while pulling the rest of it together (or being distracted by the kiddo), so the butter is cooold. I'm not sure about rising, I think they do, but I've decided next time to make them a little thicker. They separate like a normal biscuit so I can make little bacon and egg biscuits -yumm. You can cut the mix and recipe in half, and make only half at a time, which is good because otherwise I'll eat the whole batch, and I don't need to be doing that! Also, I'll use a half batch, roll it out and place it on top of a meat and vegetable stew mixture and make a pot pie sort of thing (cook it the length of time on top of the mixture).

They have the taste, but not the texture
I am wondering if I did something wrong, or if these just aren't that fluffy, but they came out like hockey pucks. I followed the instructions, including to chill them before baking, and they did not rise at all. Too bad, I really wanted some biscuits.
