Has a slight odor of kelp when one opens the bottle, but the actual pills have barely any scent. Kelp doesn't smell bad, either, so it's definitely not a big deal. I feel like it may be helping my hormonal balance, but I can't say definitively whether any progress is due to the kelp, or I'm actually improving at all! I'd say it's worth the shot, though.
