Great product.
This is a great product especially if you are looking to cleanse your liver. Nothing that I've tried in the past is as good as this one.

Product is streaked with dark brown in capsules.
This product arrived with the product showing dark brown to tan streaks in the product that can be seen through the capsule. I ordered 4 of them so know I have to return all of them. I don't know if it is that the product is old or some other reason, but other SILIPHOS that I have ordered from another company does not look like this.

"Bioavailable" is the keyword
Milk thistle extract has been shown to have hepatoprotective effects; it has other antioxidant effects and also suppresses the ability of some tumors to acquire a blood supply. What is most remarkable about it, though, is its insolubility, which makes it difficult to benefit from it. That's why this phytosome product is preferable to other forms: it will actually dissolve and allow your body to absorb the flavonoids and use them. The only concern I have about Vitacost is whether their products are of Chinese origin or not.

NSI Siliphos
Excellent version of the most efficacious milk thistle used in clinical trials. Capsules are small and easy to take. As a patient awaiting a liver transplant, Vitacost provides an excellent supply of medical quality Siliphos. I can only await a larger size bottle to improve the values.
