Vitacost Pea Protein Concentrate - Non-GMO -- 16 oz (454 g)
Great product and even better price!
I'm a huge fan of this protein powder, I take it every morning in my smoothie. Some people say it has a chalky taste and feel to it, I don't get that at all I usually load up my smoothie with tons of flavors and blend it for at least 2-3 minutes so that everything gets really smooth and incorporated and I think that should take care of the "chalkyness". At 14 grams of protein per servings and about 30 servings per container, you can't go wrong and at that price. . Fantastic! Easy to digest, no bloating like I've experienced with other brands.. it's great!

The flavor and the smell gets masked into whatever concoction being made for the most part. It's a pretty good thickening agent.
As a smoothie ingredient -- it's quite decent.
I'm still looking for different ways of using this product.

Better tasting than other pea proteins I've tried, I use it mixed with hemp and sacha inchi protein powders in my morning smoothies.

What did you expect?!?
People applaud it's lack of additives and then moan about the taste. I did an analysis on this and 3 other unsweetened protein powders (cost per g of protein, how many calories of product to consume 1 g of protein and sodium per calorie). Sodium was the only area where this product didn't fare too well. It was the highest of the four 2.6 mg per calorie. The taste or lack of didn't bother me. Other powders whether they had fructose or stevia stimulated my appetite and made me want to eat more. I take this along with Vitacost Rice Protein in water. It keeps me going for awhile.

My Favorite Protein
I like this because there is nothing added to it: no sugars and no flavors. I use it in my morning super smoothie. At first I noticed a difference in taste that I didn't think I liked, but not being one to waste food, I continued to use it. After a few times of using it, I don't taste anything but the fruit in my smoothie. I have reordered several times, and will continue to do so.
