Great muffin texture for GF! I had hoped for fabulous blueberry muffins when I purchased this muffin mix. I followed all the instructions and was a bit surprised when I smelled cinnamon in the mix. As the muffins baked the cinnamon smell became even more strong. The muffins look beautiful! We tried them right out of the oven and they look and feel like a "normal" muffin. Perfect texture and none of the typical GF grittiness. We are not happy with the strong cinnamon flavor. The ingredients didn't list cinnamon, so we were very surprised when we realized it was in the mix. If I knew it was in the mix I would have added grated carrots and nuts and had carrot cake. I won't be buying the mix again unless the cinnamon is removed or cut way back. October 8, 2014

I love these muffins I am fairly new to baking gluten free. Have tried two other brands before trying this mix. I made the banana muffins (recipe on the box). They tasted so like what I remember from my pre-gluten free days. This mix is now my absolute favorite. You won't be disappointed! July 22, 2014
Sure Miss My Baked Goods The hardest part of being diagnosed 5 yrs ago with celics was giving up the great taste of cookies, pies and cakes made with good 'ol wheat flower. We've come along way since then since the first substitute flours came out (YUCK) At last a REALLY GOOD, quick, muffin mix. You can add all kinds of things to this mix, fruits, zuccini, choc chips, etc. I used the recipe for adding blueberies on the box and instead used 1 cup of orange juice concentrate (DONT DILUTE) and a cup of craisins for cupcakes. It had to bake almost an extra 10 min but boy was I pleased! This mix is NOT gritty or like saw dust. Bananas would be great too since there is a "spice" taste to the mix. Walnuts would also be very good. I am still on the quest for the perfect pizza dough but I can check the muffin/breakfast bread off the list! July 13, 2014
