Not oily at all! The reviewer above must not be familiar with Zinc Oxide. This type of sunscreen is the most natural and best for your skin and health. I was please to find out this stuff smelled great and was dry pretty quickly after application. I can't stand oily sunscreens! I have a coupon for it so I'm going to purchase some today. cottage cheese like Very unappealing consistency and bland smell. It applies dry, like a very white and sticky glue....must rub it well to absorb into your skin. I'm returning it January 30, 2013
