Effective This product WORKS!! The key is taking this product as soon as you feel a cold coming on - you know the signs - scratchy throat, slight head ache etc. Take as directed - 1/4 teaspoon. BUT...This product does NOT taste good - it actually is VERY hard to get down. What helped my wife and I - Put 1/4 teaspoon in a glass with a little juice (1/4 - 1/2 cup) and down it right away. Then follow up with a half cup of Orange Juice. That helps get the taste out of your mouth. My wife and I actually gagged the first time we took it. BUT - it is powerful stuff - so it is worth it! Trust me - you catch it early and you're golden. Very happy with it! January 18, 2010
