Baked Brie With Caramelized Onions

Ingredients
  • 2 large yellow onions peeled, thinly sliced
  • 3/4 tsp. kosher salt
  • 2 Tbsp. fresh thyme leaves plus more to garnish
  • 20 oz. Brie top rind removed
  • 4 Tbsp. olive oil
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Line baking sheet with foil.
  2. In skillet over medium heat, heat 2 tablespoons olive oil.
  3. Add sliced onions, sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste and sauté, stirring frequently, until golden brown and caramelized.
  4. Place Brie in center of baking dish and top with caramelized onions and fresh thyme leaves.

  5. Bake 15-20 minutes until Brie begins to melt.

  6. Sprinkle with more fresh thyme leaves and serve with toast points or crackers.
