How Does NSI® Vitex Agnus-Castus work?Vitex (
vitex agnus-castus), also known chaste tree, monk's pepper tree and chasteberry, is a plant native to Mediterranean countries and central Asia. Since the time of Hippocrates, vitex has been traditionally used by women.
The main active compounds in vitex, including flavonoids, iridoid glycosides, and terpenoids, are found in its dried, ripe berries. The benefits of vitex may result from its actions on the pituitary gland, specifically on the production of the lutenizing hormone (LH). By indirectly increasing progesterone production, it may help regulate the menstrual cycle and support a normal estrogen-to-progesterone balance.
NSI® Vitex Agnus-Castus is better because it:
Contains 800 mg of vitex agnus-castus per two-capsule serving.
Costs less than other vitex products on the market.
