Mediterranean Organic Stuffed Grape Leaves Dolmas -- 10 oz
These dolmas are delicious! Being allergic to garlic, I was dismayed when my local grocery store stopped carrying these. The grape leaves are not tough and the stuffing perfectly seasoned, not needing garlic, which is all too often used to camouflage poor cooking skills.They are packed in just the right amount of oil. That they are organic is frosting on the cake, so to speak.

I first had these on the train from Amsterdam to Antwerp and the girls sitting across from us shared them with myself and my Mum. The are simply delicious. Not too spicy, wrapped tightly, and the olive oil is lite not taking away from the other flavours. Perfect for travelling.

Being Greek, I like to make my own organic dolmathes. These are a convenient substitute when I don't have the time to prepare and cook my own. They are great out of the can, or warmed. Makes a healthy meal with other Greek finger foods: feta cheese, Greek olives, Horta, etc. They also make unique Christmas or birthday gifts. Add a few tins to a holiday or birthday basket along with Mediterranean's other organic products.

The flavor of these dolmas are great. They are a little mushy. Overall I feel they are great for a special treat, but to expensive for general use.
