good product and effective as always

Effective, gentle, but results not instant
Purchased this based on a recommendation. I've used the entire bottle in order to give this a fair review. For me, results took approximately 3-4 weeks to really notice a difference. The results seemed slow for me, but I also have long-term slow digestion issues, so I don't really expect anything to work overnight in my case. I take 2 in the morning, either right away upon waking or after a small breakfast and I take 2 right before bed. Usually I can take the morning dose on an empty stomach as they seem to cause only minimal amounts, if any, of that gross feeling you get when you take supplements on an empty stomach. Usually a couple hours have lapsed between my last meal and when I take the evening dose and I've yet to experience an upset stomach. I have noticed improvement in the completeness and frequency of elimination. I feel like I'm really done and that everything is out. Also, my lower abdomen seems to be less bloated now. It was never super huge, but it's noticeably more flat now, well as flat as a belly can be after having kids :) I'm guessing this is because there isn't as much waste lingering in my intestines anymore. I just purchased the regular Triphala (Planetary Herbals brand) from Vitacost to see if I notice any difference between the two. I'll be reviewing it when I finish that bottle.

OK Not Great
The recommended dosage is two tablets twice a day. I have taken up to four twice a day and still have not acheived the elimination results I desire. The product does seem fresh and at a good price.
