Great salt, not loving the "story" on the bottle. Okay, my rating is for the salt and I think it's great. Will always buy it. I think the problem in our country is definitely all the sodium in processed/packaged foods. And the sodium in fast food or even restaurant food. . . yikes! If we used natural, pure, fresh foods we would be fine salting it however much we wanted to. And this would be the salt we should use. However, I'm not too fond of the "millions of years ago," statement on the back. Not my beliefs at all. But, I've gotten accustomed to explaining it to my children seeing as how the "old earth theory" is so prevalent in our culture. November 12, 2012

Too much grit! I really wanted to love this product, and I'm really not picky, but... I recently made spaghetti and used this in the homemade sauce and in the water to boil the pasta. A lot of it sank to the bottom in the boiling water and did not melt, but I didn't think too much of that, UNTIL I TASTED IT WITH THE SAUCE. It felt like I was eating sharp sand and I was seriously afraid I was going to damage my teeth. I had made a huge pot of sauce and couldn't even share it with anyone, as I figured they would think there was dirt in it. I won't be buying it again. I will subsitute the Himalayan pink salt the next time. Sorry RealSalt... September 19, 2012
