Sonne's Old Fashioned Cod Liver Oil No 5 -- 16 fl oz
I am a WAPF follower and was wanting a CLO that wasn't as pricey as the ones the foundation recommends as "excellent." I went to the WAPF website and found that the Sonne's was recommended in their "good" category. I'm glad I found it; the price is great. I did not find the oil to be fishy UNLESS you shake the bottle, and it even says on the bottle not to shake it. I hate fish, can't stand the smell because I find it too disgusting, but I can take the Sonne's no problem. No fish taste and no fish burps.

It's fine. However...
It's fine, the taste is easily palatable for cod liver oil. However, they do add Vitamins A and D. I'd prefer a product with no additions even though the naturally-contained vitamin amounts fluctuate.

Smell yes, but no taste!
That pretty much sums it up. My husband was so excited to see me take cod liver oil for the first time since he once bit into a capsule on a dare when he was younger. Yes, it does smell like fish, but if you're into anchovies and the like, you'll be fine. but i was surprised that i didn't taste anything - it has no taste (to me). i mean i wasnt swishing it around my mouth like a fine wine or anything. quick gulp and then a bit of water. done!

Same great oil as much more expensive types... check out their website to read all about their great product!

1. Trying to pour from the bottle always results in oil dribbling down the sides
2. I didn't have a noticeable improvement in health, but I'm not an expert, so...
3. It tastes awful - not sure if better or worse than other cod liver oils though since I haven't tried them
