Vitacost Fish Oil Lemon Description

A premium fish oil supplement with an optimum ratio of EPA and DHA. Convenient and economical way to meet the American Heart Association’s recommendation to increase omega-3 fatty acid consumption!

What is Vitacost Fish Oil?

Vitacost Fish Oil is a high quality supplement providing an optimal ratio of two of the most studied omega-3 essential fatty acids, eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA).

Omega-3 essential fatty acids are essential to the body and must be obtained through diet. Fatty fish, such as cod, tuna and salmon, are the best source, but they can also be found in some plant sources and in flaxseed, walnuts and soybeans. As most diets are lacking in these foods, taking a supplement such as Vitacost Fish Oil is a convenient way to obtain omega-3 nutrients.

How does Vitacost Fish Oil support health?

  • Omega-3 EPA and DHA are well known for their cardioprotective properties, their ability to maintain cognitive function, their potential to support healthy mood and their positive impact on joint comfort and flexibility.*

Why choose Vitacost Fish Oil?

  • Vitacost Fish Oil is steam distilled to ensure that mercury, dioxins and PCB levels are well below industry standards.
  • Convenient way to obtain omega-3 fatty acids without having to increase fish consumption.
  • Exceptional quality at an extraordinary value.

No fishy taste! No fishy taste, however the vitamin itself is pretty large. I will continue to purchase for the fish oil benefits. August 18, 2014
good product It is quite hard to evaluate the quality of supplements such as omega 3 or fish oil. I've tried fish oil of different popular brands such as NOW Foods and Optimum Nutrition. NOW fish oil was ok, while Optimum fish oil, was a complete garbage, had a very bad smell and aftertaste and gave me fish burps every time. However this one i found the best for me, no aftertaste or stomach discomfort, no smell and no fish burps at all whenever you take it. Must say it's not the first time i find Vitacost products, that their quality seems to better than that of some famous brands. July 17, 2014
Good Quality and Price I've been using for over a year and have found that it stays fresh for a long time. The Vitacost brand is always good quality and very good price. I recommend this to anyone who asks about it. June 23, 2014
Great product Got these on a BOGO sale and now have a lifetime supply. There are a lot of pills in these things! I take them for the heart-health benefits. I don't taste the lemon, but I also don't really experience the nasty after taste or strange fish burps. Maybe a small one, but nothing crazy. Little large to swallow, but about the size of all fish oil pills. Clearly I'm not an expert, but I do recommend this product. March 26, 2014
A very good oil This product is a very good fish oil. I like soo much. March 6, 2014
