Great product. Compares favorably with Carlsons
I usually use the lower potency EPA DHA Vitacost Norwegian Cod Liver Oil but this one was on sale BOGO 50 % off so I decided to try it. They are both great but I don't think I need this high a potency so I lowered the dosage from 2 tsp to 1 1/4 tsp. I take this because I hate fish. I wish they would make one between the two. Do your research Vitacost. Make one that will give us the exact recommended daily allowance of EPA DHA. I add it to 4 oz of V8 juice and there is no taste, aftertaste or burps. I've tried it on a spoon and it was oily but no fishy taste. It makes my hair shiny and promotes bathroom regularity.

As good as Carlson's
Why pay the higher price? This is the same stuff as the well-known brand, but HALF the price. Same great lemon taste as the other one too! Get what you want and keep your money too. This is a no-brainer. For you doubtfuls out there, Yes, this does NOT taste like CLO--it tastes like lemon. It's still an oil, so if it's the oiliness that might gross you out, I'm sorry. If it the hideous CLO taste you can't stand, then you're in luck. Buy some of this!

Taste good and works well
This has a very pleasant yet mild lemon flavor. I cannot detect any fishy taste at all. It does contain soy which is not a problem for me since I consume soy products. I will continue to buy this.

The description sounded great. It described a 1700 mg dose, however the wallop of a dose is the same product as their lower dose. The only difference is that you take twice the quantity which obviously is used much more rapidly. The labels for both products appear the same except for the daily dosage to be taken.
