Preheat oven to 425 degrees Oil baking sheet.

In large bowl, combine chickpeas, egg, arrowroot, cumin, parsley, red onion, yogurt, salt and pepper. Mash mixture until chunky paste forms. Mix in chives.

Shape dough into 12 to 14 balls. Dip hands in olive oil, roll balls between hands then place them on baking sheet. Using palm, flatten balls into thick patties. Drizzle oil over patties.

Bake fritters for 15 minutes. One browned, place under broiler for 2 or 3 minutes. Remove from oven and cool on wire rack.

In small bowl, mix together dressing ingredients.

In large bowl, combine salad ingredients.

Arrange salad and fritters on plates and serve with dressing.
