Preheat oven to 325 degrees F.

In large bowl, beat butter, sugar, orange zest until creamy.

Mix in eggs one at a time.

Gently fold in flour, salt and baking powder.

Add cream, yogurt and mix until combined.

Grease loaf pan, add batter and spread evenly.

Bake 65-75 minutes, or until toothpick comes out clean. Cool 10 minutes.

For glaze, mix blood orange juice, powdered sugar, salt and orange zest until thick.

Cool cake on rack 15-20 minutes, then glaze and garnish with oranges, almonds.
