Ingredients
Cake
Glaze
  • 1 blood orange juiced
  • 3/4 cup powdered sugar
  • Zest of 1/2 blood orange
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees F.
  2. In large bowl, beat butter, sugar, orange zest until creamy.
  3. Mix in eggs one at a time.
  4. Gently fold in flour, salt and baking powder.
  5. Add cream, yogurt and mix until combined.
  6. Grease loaf pan, add batter and spread evenly.
  7. Bake 65-75 minutes, or until toothpick comes out clean. Cool 10 minutes.
  8. For glaze, mix blood orange juice, powdered sugar, salt and orange zest until thick.
  9. Cool cake on rack 15-20 minutes, then glaze and garnish with oranges, almonds.
