  1. In 5 qt. soup pot or Dutch oven, combine broth, pumpkin, apples, carrots, ginger and spices.
  2. Bring soup to boil then cover and simmer 15 minutes.
  3. Remove soup from heat. Allow to cool slightly.
  4. Using immersion blender, puree soup.
