All you need to do is prep the ingredients (hours, days or months in advance), pour them into a glass jar, freezer bag or ice cube tray and throw in the freezer. When you’re ready to run out the door, dump the frozen combo in a blender with water and a booster powder for the simplest on-the-go meal.

You can make any of these smoothies without an electric device. Simply blend ahead of time, pour into ice cube trays and freeze for a blender-free smoothie. When you’re ready to enjoy, just thaw a cup full of smoothie cubes and enjoy. If you’re out and about, you can add the frozen squares to a Mason jar or coffee tumbler, so they’ll be thawed by the time you reach your destination.

Each recipe makes 1 smoothie

Berry Darling Smoothie

1 scoop Vega One Mixed Berry Nutritional Shake
1 cup unsweetened almond milk
½ banana, peeled and halved
½ cup blueberries
½ cup raspberries

Tropical Mint Smoothie

1 scoop Vega One French Vanilla Nutritional Shake
1 cup coconut water
Juice of ½ lime
1 cup spinach
¼ cup mint leaves
½ banana (optional)

All the Green Things Smoothie

1 scoop Vega One French Vanilla Nutritional Shake
1-1/2 cups water
1 cup pineapple
½ of a cucumber
2 cups spinach
½ cup parsley
1 tsp. lemon juice

Directions

  1. Measure out all ingredients (except Vega One and liquid).
  2. Package pre-measured ingredients in a freezer bag or glass jar and place in freezer.
  3. When you’re ready to enjoy, add to blender with Vega One and liquid.
