Your home should be your sanctuary. That’s why creating a spa-like atmosphere is so important to your overall health and beauty. When you have a few basic products at the ready, you’ll have no excuse not to take a few minutes of treat-me time. Already set up for a spa? It might be time to swap out your nail polish for more seasonal tones or add a moisturizing mask to combat drier, cooler temps. These fab-five fall favorites are guaranteed to soothe, pamper and ease you into pure relaxation.

Nail polish – Fall calls for deep, jewel-toned colors. Barielle Shades polish is chemical free (no funky formaldehyde or anything) and looks great with only one coat. Their vampier colors include Berry Blue, Blackened Bleu, Black Rose and Hidden Hideaway.

Candle – I gravitate toward crispy, fruity and sweet scents when the weather starts cooling down. Yankee Candle Cider Web fits the bill perfectly. Of course, no spa is complete without lavender or jasmine wafting through the air – they’re year-round favorites.

Lip stain – Any worthwhile lipstick for fall should be creamy, bold and no fuss. Too Faced Melted Liquified Long Wear Lipstick applies very smoothly and with such a vibrant tone. Also worth its weight is Ecco Bella FlowerColor Lipstick in Sangria, because it’s an all-natural, mineral-based cream color that treats chapping.

Hair mask – Post-summer, your hair craves hydration. It’s been in the sun, exposed to damaging UV rays, and as you enter drier months things can get ugly. Alterna Rehab Deep Hydration Masque can be used once a week to add hydration back into your strands.

Natural bath salt – If you have a tub, you need mineral bath salts for detoxing and clarifying skin, as well as soothing achy muscles. Ahava DeadSea Natural Mineral Bath Salt is unscented, so I can add any aromatic bubble bath to the mix. Plus, this comes in a gigantic container – aka: it lasts forever!
