Guess who is wearing her pre-pregnancy jeans. Meeeeee! Of course they are completely out of style high-waisted jeans because my “baby” is a 7 yr old boy. I took a long time to lose it, LOL. But I am proud and I am hear to BRAG because I did it the old-fashioned way.
I decided to take it slow. I have a lot of friends who are yo-yo dieters and just starve themselves and lose weight and gain it back ASAP. So I decided to first, stop drinking soda and stop it with the five cups of coffee (caffeine makes me jumpy and I also load it with sugar and cream.) Lost three pounds in a week. Then I started exercising””I started walking with my son to school and then running as he rode his bike. It’s only a mile but I had been a major couch potato! Then I was motivated to just stop eating junk and sweets.
Now I am actually skinnier than I was before I even got pregnant in the first place and just ran a 5k in under a half hour! I feel amazing!!! My IRL friends are kind of jealous and are saying things like “are you anorexic.” Um, OK, sure, I am anorexic and wear a 12. Whatever. but YAY! I can post my victories here!!!
