What you get is a no-bake snack bar that leaves you wanting more with each bite! Yet, there’s no added sugar to trick your taste buds or questionable ingredients found in store-bought processed snacks. Keep a batch on hand for grab-and-go satisfaction or a healthy anytime treat!

No-Bake Nut Butter Snack Squares

Ingredients

3 cups crispy rice cereal
1 cup regular rolled oats
1 cup chopped almonds, divided
1 cup honey
3/4 cup creamy almond butter
1 cup semi sweet chocolate chips, divided
1 tsp. sea salt

Directions

  1. Line a 8″ square baking pan with parchment paper or foil.
  2. In large bowl, combine rice cereal, rolled oats and 1/2 cup chopped almonds.
  3. For topping, combine 1/2 cup chocolate chips, 1/2 cup almonds and sea salt in small bowl; set aside.
  4. In saucepan over low heat, combine honey, almond butter and remaining 1/2 cup chocolate chips; stir until melted.
  5. Pour warm honey mixture into the large bowl and mix well to combine.
  6. Press mixture into the 8×8 pan. Sprinkle with topping and press to set in.
  7. Cover pan and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
  8. To cut into squares, lift out parchment paper or foil and use knife to slice into snack-sized squares. Store in an air-tight container or zip-top bag in the refrigerator.

Variations: 
* Swap in any of your favorite nuts or nut butters, such as peanut or hazelnut.
* Add your favorite spices or seasonings, such as cinnamon or cumin.
