Mind your own beeswax. No, I’m not scolding you for poking your head in my personal business — I’m suggesting that you open your mind to the possibility that adding a few bee-related items (other than honey) to your daily routine can go a long way to brightening your day! How can worker-bee-byproducts do that, exactly? There are many different ways, but here’s a few of my favorites:

3 Ways Bees Can Brighten Your Day

1. Add a touch of vibrance: Want to bee noticed? One swipe of Burt’s Bees Lip Crayon (in my favorite naturally derived color, Napa Vineyard) will turn heads — and it’ll also keep your lips feeling softer than you’ve ever imagined. That’s thanks to the combination of creamy beeswax (thank you, diligent worker bees!), skin-smoothing shea butter, plus hydrating kendi and jojoba oils. The self-sharpening crayon is easier to apply than conventional lipsticks and glosses, too – just pucker, swipe and go on with your day!

2. Keep things clean: Looking for a fresh start? Wash away dirt, oil and leftover makeup with this naturally effective facial cleanser, made with daisy extract (a favorite blossom for worker bees to pollinate), plus skin-brightening citrus extracts and soothing natural oils. Made from 98.7% natural ingredients with absolutely NO parabens, it’s proven to tackle dullness and promote a more radiant, even complexion. The cleanser is part of the new Burt’s Bees Brightening line, with skin-nourishing eye treatment, tonic and cream.

3. Make baby happy: A happy baby means a happier mama and daddy – but dry skin and lips are no fun for anyone. Keep your little one smiling with Burt’s Bees Kissable Cheeks Balm. Just a few swipes of this fragrance-free cream can hydrate those precious lips and that delicate skin. Made with skin-soothing beeswax, cocoa butter and vitamin E, it’s free of fragrance, parabens and phthalates – plus, it’s pediatrician-tested, so you can rest easy, mama bee!
