Almond, peanut, hazelnut, cashew—you’re nuts about nut butters, no matter which way they’re spread (or spooned!). But why limit that rich, creamy, nutritious experience to one plant food category? Seeds, like nuts, can be blended into a smooth, spoonable mixture—which can be paired with jelly for a sandwich, baked into criss-cross cookies or partnered up with chocolate, just like the nut butters you love. Here, pumpkin seeds take center stage. With a little cinnamon and spice, this topping makes everything nice.
