Your morning toast needs a topping. In the past, jam or jelly was probably a go-to, but with today’s toppings trending to bold and ultra-healthy, does the overly-sweetened fruit spread measure up anymore? An ordinary, off-the-shelf variety might not be able to compete with mashed avocado or hazelnut cream, but this chia seed jam, made with oranges and dried figs and sweetened with stevia is tangy, good for you and loaded with superfood goodness. Breakfast toast has never tasted so good!
