A Peaceful Home

Quote of the day:

“To live in a peaceful home is to experience paradise on earth.”

“• Shri Radhe Maa

Is your home peaceful? What does peaceful mean to you?

I’m a big believer in walking your talk, so if my home weren’t peaceful, well, that would be problematic. I teach and write every day about peace, joy, alignment and living in the vortex.

So is my home peaceful?

Hey, I got five kids, ages 2 to 14, what do you think?

Actually, yeah, our home is peaceful. According to my definition of peace. What’s your definition of peace?

Mine is a feeling of calm groundedness, no matter what’s going on around you (hello, twin toddler boys!).

Mine is a feeling of love enveloping a space.

Mine is organization. Everything has a place.

Mine is minimalism. (With five kids? You betcha. Especially with five kids. But remember, everything is relative.)

Mine is cleanliness. Please read the parenthetical remark above. It applies here too.

For a peaceful home, my humble suggestion is to start with you. Find peace within yourself, and that will radiate outward and magnetize to you more peace, in everything, including your home.

Best way to find peace within? Show up to your mat regularly. It’s a discipline.

Have the best day ever!

Namaste!
