There’s a million ways to prep salmon, but this spicy version, marinated in a homemade Asian dressing, is sure to become one of your favorites. Ingredients
1-1/2 lb. salmon fillet
Marinade
1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
2 Tbsp. Asian fish sauce
2 Tbsp. Simple Truth Organic Shoyu Soy Sauce
2 Tbsp. Simple Truth Organic Refined Coconut Oil
1 tsp. Simple Truth Organic Brown Sugar
2 tsp. garlic, minced
Sauce
1 serrano chili pepper, minced
1 tsp. garlic, minced
3 Tbsp. Asian fish sauce
3 Tbsp. lime juice
2 Tbsp. Simple Truth Organic Brown Sugar
1 Tbsp. fresh cilantro, minced
Directions
- In large, reclosable plastic baggie, combine marinade ingredients. Add salmon and cover fish with marinade. Let stand for 20 to 30 minutes.
- In small bowl, combine sauce ingredients. Stir until sugar dissolves and set aside.
- Preheat oven to 425 degrees F. Remove fish from marinade. Discard marinade. Place fish on rimmed baking sheet, skin side down. Bake around 12 to 18 minutes or until fish is flaky and cooked through.
- Place salmon on serving platter, drizzle with small portion of dipping sauce and serve remaining sauce on the side. Garnish with cilantro sprigs if desired.
