Way up high on the world’s favorite candy bar list, a Snickers really hits the spot. Sadly, it also bumps your waistline and sacks efforts to stay away from sugar. When chocolate cravings strike, stir up something that satisfies a sweet tooth without the extra guilt. The caramel-nutty flavor of this protein smoothie comes from healthy peanut flour and caramel extract, not artificial flavorings and spoonfuls of sugar.

Dairy-Free Snickers Protein Smoothie

Ingredients

1 scoop chocolate protein powder
1 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
3 Tbsp. peanut flour
1/2 tsp. caramel extract or date paste
1 Tbsp. flax meal
1 cup ice
Mini vegan chocolate chips
Unsalted peanuts, chopped

Directions

  1. Combine all ingredients (except chocolate chips and peanuts) in blender and blend until smooth.
  2. Sprinkle on chocolate chips and chopped peanuts.
