But there’s one food you miss more than any other: bread! You’ll appreciate a whole-food-based slice of yummy when it looks like bread, tastes like bread and feels just like the real deal. Grain-Free Banana Bread
Ingredients
5 ripe bananas
½ cup coconut flour
1/3 cup almond butter (or seed butter of choice)
1 Tbsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
4 eggs
Walnuts for topping
Directions
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F and coat a loaf pan with coconut oil.
- In a food processor, add bananas and blend until smooth. Add remaining ingredients, except for walnuts and chocolate chips. Process until well combined.
- Pour batter into greased loaf pan. Top with walnuts and chocolate chips.
- Bake 40-45 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
