Holiday Candied Cashews

Fill your holiday candy dish with something sweet and healthy. Pop some cashews in the oven, then toss with a simple honey-brown sugar glaze, spiced just slightly with a dash of cayenne.

Ingredients

2 cups cashews
¾ cup brown sugar
1 tsp. honey
2 Tbsp. warm water
1/8 tsp. cayenne pepper
¼ tsp. sea salt

Directions

1. Preheat oven to 400Ëš F. Place nuts in a single layer on a baking sheet. Bake for 7 minutes, then transfer to a large bowl.

2. Add remaining ingredients; toss gently to coat cashews.

3. Spread mixture onto a parchment-lined baking sheet and let cool for 30 minutes or until set.
