Besides not having to run out to the supermarket to restock, you’ll save money, create less waste and can enjoy your drink as creamy, frothy, thin or thick as you’d like. Homemade Almond Milk
Serves 1-2
Ingredients
½ cup almonds
Filtered water for soaking
½ to ¾ cup water (depending on preferred consistency)
1 Tbsp. vanilla
Directions
1. Soak almonds in filtered water overnight in the fridge.*
2. Rinse and peel the almonds (the skins slide right off).
3. Add almonds, vanilla and water to a blender and blend on high speed until fully incorporated (add more or less liquid to achieve desired consistency).
*Morselist Tip: I reuse my nut butter jars. Of course, I wash them first. They make great eco-friendly, BPA free containers!
