Spending time together isn’t always about making dinner reservations and shelling out big bucks to stay at a five-star hotel. Date night doesn’t have to happen outside of your home. Carve out a little time for yourselves and enjoy the comforts of home by planning your next getaway without actually going anywhere.
Seduction is as much mental as it is physical, so start your evening by spicing things up…in the kitchen! Pick out an exotic meal to cook together, preferably something your kids would never eat. One of my favorites is sesame-crusted seared Ahi tuna (line caught, if you can) and organic greens salad with roasted tofu.
You chop while he seasons. He slices while you sear. This act of working together, your movements around each other fluid and harmonious, is a delicious way to express your intimacy outside of the bedroom. Let your bodies brush against one another while navigating around the kitchen. Speak passionately and excitedly about the food and each other. Joke, tease, smile and laugh. Allow sexy playfulness to take over.
Let the night take you where it may. Just remember to close your curtains. And if you have any energy left, make yourself a batch of cookies, just for fun.
