Lean Green Protein Smoothie
Serves 1-2
Ingredients
1 scoop vegan pea protein powder
½ cup frozen chopped zucchini
¾ cup frozen kale (stems removed)
2 tsp. chia seeds
2 Tbsp. flaxseed meal
1 Tbsp. almond butter (optional)
¼ – ½ tsp. chipotle powder, to taste
1/3 of a lemon rind
1 Tbsp. chopped basil
¼ to 1/3 cup water (more or less, depending upon desired consistency)
Directions
1. Combine all ingredients in a high-speed blender. Blend until smooth.
