There’s nothing wrong with getting older, in fact, we should be celebrating every year more we get because some have not been so lucky. I have a dear friend who always says, “Don’t be sad about your birthday, it’s better than not having one.” She’s right.  I want to age gracefully. I’m not saying I’m looking forward to watching the youth slide right off my face (because I know it will), but I’d rather my children learn from me that growing older means growing wiser, not uglier. Grace and beauty, for me, mean not rushing to the plastic surgeon for Botox and face lifts, but acknowledging my skin needs a little more help now than it did in my twenties.

No need to let crows feet and laugh lines become the dominate feature on your face. Cosmeceutical Sciences Institute (CSI)  has several anti-aging products available, each one formulated differently to target exactly what you need. The CSI Anti-Aging Fruit Stem Cell Serum  is a favorite of mine, especially because the hyaluronic acid helps increase elasticity, meaning the rejuvenation of your skin is more completely and lasts longer.

I battle sun spots as lasting effect of multiple pregnancies. They drive me crazy. Not only do they age my face, but my chest and my hands as well. There are several solutions for sun damage  that are gentle and cost effective. The  Alpha Hydrox Spot Light Skin Lightener  isn’t greasy and it absorbs quickly, which is nice when you’re rushing around in the morning trying to get three kids ready for school as well as taking care of yourself. When you’re lightening sun spots, be sure to protect your skin from further damage with a sheer moisturizer containing a minimum of SPF 15 sunscreen protection, such as Alpha Hydrox Sheer Silk Moisturizer.

If you’re a makeup wearer, don’t let it sit on your skin overnight, clogging pores and causing blemishes. Utilize a gentle and safe make up remover such as Beauty Without Cruelty Eye Makeup Remover  or Yes To Inc. Yes to Cucumbers Hypoallergenic Facial Towelettes  to keep your skin fresh and clean. And as always, the tried and true way to keeping your face looking young and fresh is to make sure you’re using a gentle cleanser and moisturizer every morning and every night. Try using CSI Rose Hip Facial Cleanser,  Super Hyaluronic Moisturizing Cream and Recovery Eye Cream  for your night time beauty routine and you’ll repair all of the damage your skin has endured throughout the day.
