Yet, there’s still something missing: dessert, of course! If you’re going to prepare, prepare accordingly. Sweet cravings are bound to happen, which is why it’s imperative you fight them with a naughty-but-nice treat. So, grab the maple syrup. You’ll find it’s good for more than pancakes.

Maple Nut Protein Bites Recipe

Maple Nut Protein Bites

Makes 8 bites
Macros per serving: 75 calories | 7 g protein | 4 g carbs | 4 g fat

Ingredients

¼ cup sugar-free maple syrup
2 scoops Quest Nutrition Vanilla Milkshake Protein Powder
¼ cup powdered peanut butter (or peanut flour)
2 Tbsp. cashew butter
¼ tsp. vanilla extract
2 Tbsp. chopped pecans
Pinch of salt

Directions

  1. In a medium-size bowl, microwave syrup for 10 seconds.
  2. Add remaining ingredients to bowl and stir until fully incorporated.
  3. Roll batter into 8 even balls and eat…or save for later.
