You know what’s it like to go from the gym to a parent-teacher conference to a business meeting to your kid’s football game and back home to fix dinner. It’s all in a day’s work, but how do you dress to impress when you have virtually no time between pit stops? Being a mom and bouncing from one thing to the next, I have found a formula for looking put together in a flash.

F – Find function in a pair of classic black pants and a crisp white top. It doesn’t have to be a button-up blouse. Does a V-neck tee look best on you or a ruffled tank top? Same goes for the pants. Boot cut legs accentuate an athletic bod. Rock it, girl!
L – Layer with a blazer for sophistication. Choose a blazer that has some edge to it — think zippers, a funky print or a peplum style. Above all, DO NOT wear a blazer with shoulder pads!
A – Accessorize with a headband to contain fly-aways, a sleek belt to accentuate your hard-earned waistline and a pair of hoop earrings for a little bling.
S – Slick back hair with anti-breakage spray and pull into a pony tail or bun. Even when you don’t have time to shower or freshen up, pulling your hair back is always a winning ‘do and shows off that pretty face of yours.
H – Heighten your look (and your mood) with a smile — the greatest accessory of all. Apply a red lip color to make teeth look whiter. Yay for quick fixes!
