The word methylsulfonylmethane probably doesn't mean much to you. But then again, if somebody told you that MSM may help support joint function and mobility, you may know what they're talking about. MSM is a sulfur-bearing compound that occurs naturally in many fruits, vegetables, grains, animals and humans and, as a dietary supplement, is associated with a wide range of benefits.

When paired with glucosamine and / or chondroitin, MSM shows significant promise in supporting healthy joints. However, MSM supplements often take months to produce results, quickly discouraging those in search of immediate relief.  Nutritionists suggest that a little hope goes a long way, as studies over time indicate more success with MSM than not.
