Acai, goji, pomegranate, noni”¦.what is with all the attention these exotic fruits have been receiving lately? Nearly every fruit is high in antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals”¦ that’s why we are supposed to eat at least 2-4 serving of fruits per day! Here is the scoop on noni fruit”¦

Noni is a small evergreen shrub that grows in tropical regions of the Pacific, including Southeast Asia, Australia and Polynesia. Its leaves and fruit have traditionally been used to make dye and to soothe minor skin irritations. Today, the fruit is most commonly combined with other fruits (grape or berry) to make juice. Supplements of the fruit and leaves are also available in capsules, tablets and teas.

Noni is very high in potassium and antioxidants. Noni contains many vitamins (A, B1, B2, B3, C and E), minerals (calcium, iron, magnesium, potassium and selenium), protein, pectin, amino acids (including all essential amino acids), phytonutrients, polysaccharides and digestive enzymes. It may support healthy immune system functioning, normal physical stamina and endurance, normal inflammatory response, brain health and normal menstrual cycles in women.
