This time last year, I didn’t know what Pinterest was. Now, I’m on it every day, and let me tell you ““ it’s fertile ground for gluten-free food. Simply search “gluten-free” and you’ll find pin after pin providing links to recipes, cookbooks, products and resources.
The graphic-driven site is a popular platform for food photography, but it’s also become a tool for creating wish lists and sharing product recommendations. What I like most is when those pins are linked to an actual shopping or review site, so I can either purchase the product or read why it’s so great without having to search around for the information.
Vitacost has gotten into the spirit of Pinterest by offering a Pinterest Gluten-Free Giveaway, focused on gluten-free food. All you have to do is create a board titled “Vitacost & NFCA Gluten-Free” and then pin your favorite gluten-free products from Vitacost’s website (make sure to tag it with #VitacostNFCA). One lucky pinner will win basket of gluten-free goodies from Vitacost!
I already created a board on NFCA’s Pinterest page featuring some of our favorite gluten-free products. Which gluten-free foods will you pin?
