It’s time to step aside sugary frozen lemonade, these lemon and saffron-rose water ice pops are your new sweet to beat the heat!
Yields 6 ice pops
Ingredients
2 cups water
1/2 tsp. rose water
1 tsp. lemon juice
2 tsp. raw sugar or few drops stevia
Generous pinch saffron threads
Edible flowers
Directions
- Heat water in pan. Crush saffron strands and add to water.
- Add rose water and sweetener and mix. Mix in lemon juice. Let cool.
- Add edible flowers to ice pop mold and fill with saffron-rose water.
- Insert stick into each mold and freeze overnight.
- Before removing ice pops, place molds under warm water for a minute or two and then pull gently.
