Slow-Cooker Vanilla & Cinnamon Applesauce
Ingredients
6 lbs. (about 10 medium-sized) apples, sliced
2 cups apple cider
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1 tsp. vanilla bean, halved and seeds scraped
1/4 tsp. ground cardamom
Directions
- Add sliced apples, vanilla bean seeds, spices and apple cider to slow cooker.
- On high setting, cook applesauce for 4-6 hours, stirring occasionally until apples are soft and few chunks remain.
