Looking for something to help you cool off? With blazing-hot temps, we’re all in need of a refreshing bite. Keeping a batch of these thirst-quenching frozen yogurt pops in your freezer this summer will keep you away from the diet-diminishing ice cream shop. This healthy spin on ice-cold treats is made from fresh strawberries, raw honey and cardamom, which is great for digestion and body detoxification—it also adds just the right pop of flavor!
Ingredients
1 cup vanilla yogurt or dairy-free yogurt
1/2 cup lemonade
1/4 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
1 Tbsp. freshly squeezed lemon juice
1 Tbsp. raw honey
1/4 tsp. Simply Organic Cardamom
Directions
- In blender or food processor, combine all ingredients until smooth.
- Fill ice pop molds or ice cube trays and freeze about 1 hour, until partially firm. Add ice pop sticks and freeze for another 1 to 4 hours (depending on size) until frozen through.
Additional tip: For a creamier consistency, partially freeze fruit-yogurt mixture in a freezer-safe dish, then mash to soften. Whip two egg whites until stiff and fold into mixture. Fill freezer-pop molds or ice cube trays and freeze until firm.
