Strawberry Protein Ice Pops

You’ve got your toes in the water and bum in a beach chair, but you’re missing one thing. If you aren’t already, you’ll soon be sweating for an ice-cold treat. A daiquiri might do the trick, though it might also trick your body. To really quell your quench for something sweet, keep a batch of strawberry protein ice pops on hand. Four simple, all-natural ingredients come together in a frozen dessert that’s guaranteed to help you chill out.

Strawberry Protein Ice Pops

Makes about 6 small ice pops
Macros per ice pop: 46 calories | 7 g carbs | 4 g protein | 0 g fat | 1 g fiber | 6 g sugar

Ingredients

1 scoop Vega Berry Sport Performance Protein Powder
1/3 cup water
2 Tbsp. organic cane sugar
10 oz. frozen organic strawberries

Directions:

  1. In a blender, process all ingredients until thick and smooth.
  2. Pour mixture into ice pop molds and set in freezer for at least an hour, or until solid.
  3. Chill out and enjoy!

Tip: Add ingredients to the blender in the order they’re listed above for better mixability.
