Summery Spiced Sangria Recipe

Ingredients

1 750 ml bottle red wine
2 cups orange juice
2 pkgs. Simply Organic® Mulling Spice
2 12-oz. cans ginger ale or lemon-lime soda
2 cups sliced fresh fruit (oranges, strawberries, apples)
Cinnamon sticks

Directions

  1. In large glass or stainless steel container, combine wine, orange juice and mulling spices. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
  2. Strain mixture into clean container or punch bowl, then add soda.
  3. Serve sangria over ice, garnished with fruit slices and a cinnamon stick.

Recipe tip:

For a same-day version, in large pot, heat fruit juices to a boil.Turn off heat, add mulling spices and let sit 10 minutes. Cool mixture in refrigerator. Strain and add remaining ingredients. Serve over ice.
