To Do ASAP: Take Care of Myself!

All moms know what it’s like to be the bottom priority, last on the to-do list — if you even make the list at all. The bad news is if you continue to de-prioritize yourself, the wear and tear will begin to show. You’ll lose that natural glimmer of health. The good news is you don’t have to let yourself go. No matter your shape or size, you are a welcomed member of the “Hot Moms Club” and your initiation ceremony begins in the gym.

To Do ASAP: Take Care of Myself! You read that right. Hitting the gym most days of the week is all it takes to go from feeling run down to strutting your stuff around town. We’ve already discussed how exercise gives you energy and boosts your mood. But it also gives you a natural glow…and I’m not talking about sweat. This glow shines from the inside out.

Physically speaking, your skin tone is more radiant due to increased blood flow, you can’t help but smile because of the endorphin rush and you walk with a sense of fearlessness having just tested your limits or setting a new personal best. Because of these physical benefits of exercise, your body naturally emits a positive energy. And there’s nothing hotter than a confident, happy woman!

Because your time is precious, use my done-in-ten beauty tips to help maintain that gorgeous glow long after your workout.

1. First and foremost, wash your face with a gentle, moisturizing cleanser that will remove the sweat and grime of the gym while leaving your skin soft and supple.

2. After working up a sweat, look at yourself in the mirror and note where your cheeks naturally flush. This is where you will lightly apply a bronzing blush. Swipe on jet black  mascara to lengthen lashes and enhance your beautiful eyes.

3. Finally, spray your washed (or unwashed) hair with a coconut-scented styling solution that will instantly give you beach-sexy waves — and leave you smelling a little tropical, too.

Hot mama, it’s time to love the skin you’re in. And, yes, that means making time for the most important person: YOU! So, put yourself back on the to-do list, start exercising regularly and reap the rewards of more energy, more smiles and more confidence.
