So you have to travel, huh? You’re going to be on the road, go-go-go, sleeping on airplanes, in and out of hotels, forced to eat at restaurants for days on end and potentially being nowhere near a gym. I know how that feels. That’s my life, but I haven’t let the stress and inconvenience of traveling bring down my healthy habits. And neither should you! Whether you have a one-week beach vacation in your future or traveling is a regular part of your profession, there are ways to get a handle on your health. In the coming weeks, I’m going to help you:

1. Pack snacks that travel well.

2. Avoid fast-food temptations.

3. Create your own traveling gym.

While you’re away from the comforts of home, you’ll be thankful you have these three easy-to-implement ideas to help you stick with your fit routine. Trust me — if you can master maintaining healthy living while traveling, your weight-management journey will never dead end.
