Vegan Golden Milk Ice Pops

Reap the benefits of golden milk this summer without overheating. Traditionally served warm, golden milk is an Ayurvedic healing remedy commonly used to treat everything from colds to asthma. Rather than sip on a steamy mug of this anti-inflammatory elixir, turn it into a frozen treat that you can enjoy in the summer heat!

Makes 6

Ingredients

1 can coconut milk
3 Tbsp. maple syrup
3/4 tsp turmeric powder
1/4 + 1/8 tsp. ground ginger
1/8 tsp. ground cinnamon

Directions

  1. In blender, combine coconut milk and maple syrup. Add turmeric, ginger and cinnamon and blend.
  2. Pour mixture into ice pop mold and freeze for around 1.5 hours or until slightly set.
  3. Remove from freezer and insert wooden stick into each ice pop. Freeze overnight.
  4. Remove ice pops from mold by running under warm water for few seconds and gently pull out each ice pop
