Quote of the Day:

“Yoga is possible for anybody who really wants it.  Yoga is universal.”

 ~Sri Krishna Pattabhi Jois

Never practiced yoga before? No worries! There is a class for you.

I won’t use the word “beginner.” Because in yoga, we are all beginners””if we’re really practicing yoga. No one is “good” or “bad” at yoga. It’s a practice, not a sport.

You simply show up to your mat and do your best, with breath.

Your yoga teacher may explain to you that it’s important to listen to your body and rest as needed during your practice. Remember, the teacher is just your guide””it’s you who has the true inner wisdom.

“But what about downward dog and warrior one and triangle poses?” you ask. “I’ve heard of “˜em but have no idea how to do em! I’m afraid I’ll look silly and be embarrassed.”

This is impossible. Because it’s all about just showing up and doing your best with breath.

Any yoga class you take will leave you feeling happy and balanced and energized and peaceful and transformed. Every single time.

Have the best day ever!

Namaste!
